These charming, profusely illustrated books consist entirely of woodblock prints on creped paper bound with ties and glue. Hasegawa employed some of the best woodblock print artists of the era - in this case, Yoshimune and Shoso.
Medium: Woodblock prints.
Condition: Front page edge wrinkle, rear page slight foxing, outer cover worn with tape. Interior pages mostly excellent. Book is stamped WITHDRAWN on lower edge, indicating that it was once discarded from the California State University Fresno Library collection.
